Bryn Eglwys Bach Reviews

Shannon
We had a lovely short stay, beautiful views and the perfect home to switch off and relax. Close to shops and fun days out, but equally has everything at home for a moment of peace. Hot tub was amazing with idyllic views of the mountains and lambs, sheep and horses. Carol welcomed us and was the perfect host, attentive but by no means intrusive. We will 100 be back this year! Thank you again Carol x

Bryn Eglwys Bach is set in a perfect location. Close to main towns but in beautiful countryside with views over the island to Snowdonia whilst one is lounging in the hot tub. Carol was warm and friendly from the moment we first met and made us feel very welcome. Having her next door was great and not at all intrusive. Already planning a return but struggling to find availability owing to the popularity of this little gem.
Kayleigh
We had such a lovely time. The cottage is so peaceful and set in a beautiful area of Anglesey with stunning mountain views surrounded by rolling green fields. Carol was extremely accommodating and thoughtful. The welcome items were very much appreciated by us all. The hot tub was an added bonus and the unexpected little pool table in the garage brought us some fun too. We slept so comfortably throughout our stay. The only thing I'd change would be a lockable external door between the main living space and the porch, but that is more of a personal preference as I'm quite security conscious anyway. It definitely wouldn't stop me staying again. We would love another visit.
Elizabeth
Great place to stay, everything you could need. Location perfect for exploring anglesey.
Thank you again ,will definitely be returning such a lovely place spotless with everything you need
Veronica
Just come back from a wonderful holiday at Bryn Eglwys Bach. The property is spotlessly clean and very modern with everything you need. We visited a few places with my favourite being Beaumaris only 15 minutes away. This is our second time at the cottage and we have booked it again for next year. Can't wait! Thank you Carol and Mark for a fantastic holiday. Excellent. Highly recommended.
Such a lovely house, had everything you needed and the host was nice and friendly. Nice secluded spot but only a short drive to all amenities. Hot tub and house spotless and beds so comfy.
My family of four had a great stay in August, the location is great with a lot of the attractions such as Newborough Beach with the light house and wild horses, The Anglesey Transport Museum, Beaumaris Castle and Plas Newydd House and Gardens within 30 minutes and plenty to do what ever the weather. The facilities at Bryn Eglwys Bach are great with a hot tub, good size fridge and freezer as well as washing machine and dishwasher.

Ah, where to start? ! Such a beautiful, clean and comfortable selfcatering holiday property with a washing machine and dishwasher. We stayed for 7 nights in Aug 2024 as a family of 4 and instantly felt relaxed due to the remoteness of the location but still has so much within easy reach and the actual home itself. It was extremely clean and modern and had everything we needed to prepare a packed lunches each day and a variety of meals throughout the week. The hot tub was a great treat for our children and for us after climbing Snowdon! Carol, the property owner is so lovely and helpful and even though they live next door we very rarely saw her, only once during the week when she arranged a visit to check levels on the hot tub. You must book this
Rachel
We had a wonderful holiday and this house was absolutely perfect! Everything you would ever need it was super clean and a pleasure to stay in. Carol was incredibly warm and welcoming as a host and couldnt do enough to help us settle in and have a great time. We thoroughly recommend this holiday house in such a beautiful and peaceful location.
Carol was lovely, welcome pack on arrival. Lovely and quiet a great base. Views of Snowdonia from the hot tub . Anglesey is easy to navigate, there is a full map on the premises. Easy to use amenities. Sad to leave highly recommended 5stars easy.
Michael
Excellent and comfortable accommodation. Met all our needs. The welcome pack and fresh flowers were a nice touch. Carol was very helpful. Pristine clea liness. Great location, peaceful surroundings yet ideal for reaching all parts of the island and North Wales. Lovely views of Snowdonia from the superb hot tub.
Are second visit and will be booking again love this place
Doreen
Thank you to Carol and Mark for their hospitality. Amazing welcome pack of wine, flowers, Welsh cakes, coffee pods, tea, sugar, milk and water. On mentioning we had forgotten our own tea & coffee we were supplied with more. Cottage was clean, homely and was equipped with everything you could want and more you never dreamed you would want. The hot tub was amazing and just what was needed after walking. Plenty to do and see in the area, note if you want to see red squirrels the best place to do so is The Dingle, but buy some walnuts from the Asda before you go into the wooded area. Great place to stay and even though the weather was not great it did not stop us getting out and enjoying the surrounding area. We will definitely retun in the future. Thanks again Doreen & John from Bedford
Lesley
We had a wonderful week in this modern, well equipped cottage. The beds very comfortable and the hot tub was a bonus after a day of sight seeing and walking. Carol was helpful and informative but not intrusive. We visited Newborough forest and had a long walk on the beach also The Dingle is a nature reserve with red squirrels. Cadnant gardens are worth a visit as are Plas Newydd and Penrhyn Castle. A very memorable week! Thank you Carol.
All lovely, including our host.
Fantastic property with everything you could possibly need for a break in Anglesey. New throughout, spotlessly clean great kitchen, dining and lounge area. Comfortable beds and great showers. Hot tub available with stunning views of Snowdonia. This property is a real find. Thank you Carol.

We loved every minute of our stay here, the house is delightful and has everything you need, amazing views, peaceful but easy access to beaches and mountains. The house was immaculate, well thought out indoor and outdoor spaces, perfect for relaxing and spending time together, comfortable beds and sofas. We cannot recommend highly enough, loved the extra touches of flowers, milk etc. Carol is wonderful host and this house is a little jem.
Alexander
The house was in excellent condition, all facilities first class, everything was so clean and all the utensils that we needed were there. Everything was excellent the hot tub, the snooker table and carol the host met us on arrival, went through everything and gave us ideas of places to visit, and she also checked in mid week to make sure everything was okay as well as the chlorine on the hot tub! There was a lovely welcome pack on arrival of tea, cakes and more, would highly recommend and would love to go back some time in the future.
Such an amazing bank holiday weekend spent in this beautiful cottage. Weve stayed in a lot of Sykes Cottage and this has been our favourite so far! Perfect location, nice and quiet but only a 1015 minutes drive from everything. Spotlessly clean, fantastic hot tub, especially with the sheep and bunnies coming over to you. Really comfy beds and blackout blinds to get a great night sleep. Carol the owner was so so lovely too, really helpful. We would recommend in a heartbeat and would love to come back!
Lovely people lovely cottage and absolutely immaculate. A great position for visiting the best of Anglesey yet totally peaceful. Carol could not have been more helpful yet unobtrusive.
Property was spotless clean ,nice and modern with everything you could need , countryside views from every aspect and so peaceful and quiet . Location was good to explore all the island or go over to the mainland. Hot tub was great to chill out in after day out. Would definitely recommend.

We have just returned from an amazing break at Bryn Eglwys Bach. What can I say A truly stunning holiday home absolutely immaculately kept in every sense! A perfect base for exploring the delights on the beautiful Isle of Anglesey. Carol obviously takes such pride in making sure her guests have a fantastic stay. She was extremely welcoming and her hospitality and recommendations for our stay were absolutely second to none. The hot tub was fantastic and we very much enjoyed the wonderful views from the property and regular visits from the sheep & lambs just beyond the garden! Overall a 5 star review from us all and we will definitely be booking to stay in the future!
We really enjoyed our stay in Anglesey. The property was excellent, clean, well presented and in a fantastic location for exploring both Snowdonia and Anglesey. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub and features such as a coffee machine really gave it a homely feel. Carol was an excellent host and wed really recommend this as a base for Anglesey.
Claire
Beautiful setting, the cottage had everything we needed, the bed was so comfortable and the hot tub the best I've been in and immaculate. Some lovely extras for over Xmas, thank you Carol
The property was absolutely beautiful. Immaculately presented and so modern. The views were breath taking and the place itself was very remote and quiet. Such a lovely place to stay. Too nice for such a loud family like us
We had a wonderful stay in a beautiful clean warm cottage. Every need was thought of, and it was delightful to bubble in the hot tub after a days sightseeing. Close to good eating pub, central for touring. Hosts were lovely, and we would have no hesitation in returning to or recommending this cottage. Thank you!
We really enjoyed our stay. Felt welcomed. It was a Great location and we easily explored the many attractions in the area. It was clean & comfortable. We borrowed Carol & Marks filter coffee machine. Love our coffee. Also a mattress topper. Hot tub had the best jets. Really helped my arthritis. Loved visiting the lighthouse, Beaumaris castle, penryhn castle & slate museum. And more. Definitely would recommend.
Carol welcomed us when we arrived and explained how things in the cottage worked, which was very helpful. Everything in the cottage was of a high standard, extremely clean and well equipped. The heating was very efficient and easy to use. The king size bed was extremely comfortable and we slept very well. There were views from the garden across to Snowdon. Carol's knowledge of the local area was helpful to us, especially about where to eat. We tried most of her recommendations and were not disappointed. We would love to come and stay again.
Charlotte
An amazing place to stay! A wonderfully quiet and peaceful setting. A home from home, very clean, comfortable and well equipped with everything you would need and more. The hot tub was a blessing after climbing Snowdon. Carole and Mark were very welcoming and friendly.
Wonderful property in a beautiful location. We really enjoyed our stay and will hopefully return soon. Thank you.
Veronica
What a brilliant holiday. A lovely place to stay. Very modern and spotlessly clean. It had everything we needed. We were made very welcome. We enjoyed it so much that we have booked again for next year. We are really looking forward to it. Many thanks to Carol and Mark. 10 out of 10. Excellent.
We had a lovely week, the property itself has everything you may need even oven gloves which I had forgotten the furnishings, fittings etc give it a high quality luxury feel. The added touches like toilet roll, milk in the fridge, fresh flowers when we arrived were lovely, there were even a selection of toys for the kids. The main bedroom is very spacious with a large ensuite, the twin bedroom is smaller but still lovely and benefits from a TV which our kids loved in the mornings. The hot tub was amazing, it was used several times a day especially by the kids, they also loved seeing the sheep and cows in the surrounding fields and amazing views of the mountains from the terrace. Anglesey is very picturesque with has so much to see, we especially loved the rockpools at Penmon point, crabbing off Beaumaris pier and visiting and walking up South Stack lighthouse. Would also recommend visiting Cable bay rockpools at low tide and Church bay. We would definitely recommend staying here to anyone.
Jennifer
